New to the crew at Flesh Skin Grafix in Imperial Beach, CA Suzy brings with her a very strong art background. Graduating from the University of Arizona in 2001 with a BA in art & sculpture & visions of tattoos dancing in her head she came west to the San Diego area to check it out. After a year and a half, she hooked up with Karen Mast at Avalon Tattoo in Pacific Beach & the long journey began. After also spending time at Avalon 2 & Super Fly Tattoo she was introduced to Mike Martin at Flesh Skin Grafix. He was impressed with the bright young lady & brought her aboard March 12, 2004. Susan has a wide variety of interests in the art world. She has been actively involved in Poi Dancing, twirling balls of fire & tossing them high into the air, cartwheels, flips & spins. My name is Dawn Marie. I am a Montana native living in Spokane for 3 years now. My Carreer began in a small shop in Billings by the name of "Tattoo Art". Buz Bailey was my mentor for the 10 years that I had the pleasure of working for him. I will be eternally grateful to buz and his former wife darcy for entrusting me with their knowledge and for bringing me into the industry and lifestyle. I have currently worked in tattoo shops for 13 years. I have been tattooing for 5 1/2 year practicing perfection in all styles of art. I've also been piercing for 11 years, specializing in all types of exotic piercing. I am blessed to have many mentors and friends and I treasure their support and willingness to share information. Eric was one of my best friends, and taught me what it means to be a good tattooer. I miss him very much, and I am eternally indebted to him.
